Mrs. Wadhams had worked for the Sidney family who built the Sidney "Mansion" shown in several pictures in this gallery. When Mrs. Sidney died in 1920, she bought the property from her employer. Three years after the picture above was taken, Mrs. Wdhams lost the property in a foreclosure sale.
